Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study is to know the serial morphological change such as calcification, tortuosity of
aorta by comparing abdominal CTs taken at over 5 year interval in same patient.

Matieral and Methods: We had reviewed abdominal CT angiographies of 424 patients who had been studied between 2012-05-01 and 2013-05-31 in Chungbuk National University Hospital and they had history of CT scan more than 5 years ago. Radiologic variables, such as calcification change, change of tortuosity, dilatation and atherosclerotic plaque of aortoiliac artery had been studied.

Results: Mean age of patients was 67.4. The ratio of male to female was 1.7:1. The mean interval of radiologic
study was 75.1months. There was no calcification in 136 patients(32%). In 110 patients(26%), there was deposition of calcification more than 5mm. The mean age of patients who had deposit of calcification was older than no calcification group. The dilatation of aorta was found in 14 patients(3.3%). The change of atherosclerotic plaque was found in 75 patients(17.7%). The change of tortuosity was found in 27 patients(6.4%). The mean age in group of aortic dilatation and plaque change was older than the other. But The mean age in group of tortuosity change was not older.

Conclusion: Calcifications of aortoiliac artery were frequently found. Calcifications, aortic dilatation and deposit of
atherosclerotic plaque were associated with aging but tortuosity was not associated with aging.
